2017 will see the start of new course throughout the year. These regular course will focus on sections of the grading syllabus and will cover a more in depth look at each section. Sunday the 13th was weapons day; the feature was the Tonfa instruction under Pete Halloran and Tai Chi sword under Paul Bacon. The weekend of the 11th to 13th was Shizendo Norway course attended by 60 students both adults and children. My old and newly refurbished wooden dummy, repositioned for training in the garden, peace and quite and next to the Koi Carp pond.
A new training session has been added at Cascades Leisure centre for Karate Kids on Friday at 6.30pm to 7.15pm exclusively for 1st Kyu and above. The session will cover all aspects of 1st Kyu training, Kata, pairs work and application, a must for all 1st Kyu’s.
