- Iwill provide you with more information about training sessions, including days, venues, and times.
- Free Taster Session:
- The first lesson is offered as a free taster session.
- This allows you to experience a class, meet the instructor, and see how you feel about the training.
- Receive Feedback:
- After the taster session, the instructor may provide feedback and answer any questions you have.
- This is an opportunity to discuss your experience and determine if martial arts is a good fit for you.
- Pay and Train Basis:
- Shizendo Martial Arts operates on a pay-as-you-train basis.
- The fees are £6 for children and £8 for adults per training session.
- There are no monthly fees, providing flexibility in attendance.
- Structured Training Sessions:
- Each training session is structured to cater to different age groups and skill levels.

Satellite Karate Classes are managed by other Shizendo Instructors teaching the Shizendo system of karate. The chief instructor oversees the development and standards of both in house instructors and students of these clubs, to maintain a level of quality. The instructors of the Satellite clubs have to attend regular training with the chief instructor, to uphold their own standards of training, which reflects in the students standards. Standards are monitored on monthly gradings by a select grading panel.
For Dan gradings, the Technical Committee will be consulted for approval and date then set for the candidate to attempt the grading test. The Technical Committee is made up experienced martial artist.
