Cygnet Leisure Centre Karate club meets every Thursday with separate classes for Children and adults.

Childrenā€™s Training Session

The childrenā€™s classes are divided into three sessions, first is for beginners, white belt to red belt, intermediate training session is for yellow belts to blue belts, advance training session is for the purple belts to black belts students.  The beginnerā€™s class is for new students to enrol and to star their martial art journey and to progress with the first two grades. The second session covers more in-depth training with combinations of kick punch and Kata, prearranged sequence of fighting movements with techniques. Also trained in this session is equipment training and partnered pairs work. the last session is more of the same but at an advance level of performance and skill level with an understanding of the concepts and principles of karate.  

How to enrol into class

Simply come along for a free taster session on Thursday children at 5.00pm Adults at 8.00pm to see how you get on and to give feedback after the training session. Each training session is structured as a pay and train basis, no monthly fees, just turn up pay Ā£6.00 and train, miss a week no payment, children train for 45 minutes. We take children from the age of five years. Adult training session fee Ā£8.00 and training is for one and half hours.

Adult Karate Training Session

Adults meet at 8.00pm and is structured exactly the same as the children, pay as you train, fee Ā£8, adults train for one and half hours. Beginners are integrated into class training as we have a number of instructors to be able to take you through your training session.
